Gary L. Kazmierczak, 65, of Elyria, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2016. He was born in Elyria on November 17, 1950.
Gary served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of VFW Post #1079 in Elyria and the United Polish Club.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Carol (nee Henderson); daughter, Kelly; son, Jack; grandchildren, Jasmine and Carter; brother, William Latta and sister, Donna Kitchen.
A Celebration of Life service will be held from 12 Noon to 4 P.M., Saturday, April 30, 2016 at the Avon Lions Community Center, 2155 Eaton Dr., Avon.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Larry “Gene” Stump
Larry “Gene” Stump of Flint, Michigan, 73, went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, April 30, 2016, at his residence.
Gene was born August 27, 1942, in Rosedale, West Virgina. He graduated from Normantown High School. Gene was a U.S. Army Veteran with service in the Vietnam War. He married Nina White on November 1, 1963, in West Virginia. He had resided in Flint since 1988 coming from Elyria. He was employed at Fisher Body – Coldwater for many years before retiring from Saginaw Delphi in 1998 with over 35 years of combined service. He was also an active member of UAW Local 659. Gene was a member of Westside Church in Flushing. He enjoyed gardening, board games with friends, social gatherings with his church family, trips to West Virginia and loved spending time with his family.
Survivors include is wife, Nina; four children; Michael (Michele) Stump of Grafton, Carla (Jack) Handley of Elyria, Alan (Jenn) Stump of Flint, Michigan and Terry (Heather) Stump of Flint, Michigan; eight grandchildren and two step-grandchildren; brother, David (Claudia) Conley of Elyria; sister, Ruth (Larry) Hughart of Charleston, West Virginia.
Gene was preceded in death by his mother, Fanny Reaser on December 18, 2015.
The family will receive visitors at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio, Michigan on Monday, May 2, 2016 from 1 to 8 P.M., and at the church on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at 10 A.M. until the time of service. Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M., Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at Westside Church, 5090 Pasadena Ave. Flushing, Michigan, 48433. Pastor Ed Emmerling officiating. Burial to follow in Sunset Hills Cemetery with Military Honors. Memorial contributions may be made to Westside Church.

Raymond J. Tumbry, Sr.
Raymond J. Tumbry, Sr., 72, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at the New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph in Lorain after a lengthy illness. He was born on July 16, 1943 in Cleveland and has been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 48 years.
He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. He worked on the assembly line for General Motors, retiring in 2006 after 39 years of service. Raymond enjoyed working on and racing cars at Norwalk Raceway Park and Thompson Drag Raceway. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, NHRA and IHRA drag racing and the Renegade Racing Association.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Cora (nee Dotson); son, Raymond J., Jr. (Laurie) of North Ridgeville; granddog Bentley “Mr. B.”; sisters, Mary (Mario) Sangregory and Philomena “Tootsie” Tumbry, both of Salem, Illinois and many nieces and nephews.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph and Stella (nee Faliszek) Tumbry; brother, Florian “Butch” Tumbry.
Family will receive friends in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville, on Tuesday May 3, 2016 from 5 to 8 P.M. and on Wednesday May 4, 2016 for a 9:30a.m. prayer service preceding a 10 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter Catholic Church, 35777 Center Ridge Rd. Interment will be in Butternut Ridge Cemetery, Eaton Township.

John E. Willis, Jr.
John E. Willis, Jr., 65, of Elyria, passed away at his residence on Thursday, May 5, 2016, following a long illness. He was born February 12, 1951 in Baltimore, Maryland.
Mr. Willis had been a Lorain County resident for most of his life. He was a truck driver/heavy hauler for many years and retired several years ago. Mr. Willis was a member of Teamsters Local #436 and of Operators Engineers Local #18. He enjoyed cooking, yard work, doing mechanical work and motorcycles.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Carol (nee Reeves); one daughter, Stephanie Willis of Elyria; one son, John E. Willis III of Grafton; one grandson, Eric E. Willis of Wellington; one sister, Lynn Roth (Bob) of Columbia Station; one brother, Mark E. Willis of Elyria and by several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John E. Willis, Sr. and Lena Willis (nee Malone).
The family will receive friends Monday May 9, 2016, from 4 until 8 P.M., at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Road (at Stoney Ridge Road), North Ridgeville. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, May 10, 2016, at 11 A.M., at the funeral home. The Reverend Roger Loomis will officiate. The gentlemen who will be serving as pall bearers on Tuesday will be; Eric Willis, Nathan Brandenburg, Paul Purnell, Dennis Brandenburg, Justin Willis and Bob Roth. Burial will be at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Avon.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to either Crossroads Hospice or to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

Louise Moran
Louise Moran (nee Boughton), 89, of Lorain, passed away Friday, May 6, 2016, at Amherst Specialty Hospital, after a brief illness. She was born April 8, 1927 in Lorain, to Herbert and Helen Boughton and graduated from Lorain High School in 1944.
Louise made her career as a secretary, working at General Motors, Elyria Memorial Hospital, Dr. Pepper Bottling Company and the former St. John Parish, in Lorain. Later in her career, she became a medical transcriber and case aid with Jobs and Family Services.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Amherst, Catholic Golden Agers, Red Hat Society, TOPPS, a contributor to the Senior Years Newspaper and the Lorain County Genealogical Society. While tracing her roots, she discovered that she is considered to be a part of the First Families of Lorain County, a direct descendent of an individual who settled in the county by the end of 1850 and she was a part of the Civil War Families of Ohio.
Louise enjoyed traveling on bus trips, cross word puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Kirk (Lynette) Fitch of Lorain, Karen Fitch Chawansky of Sheffield Lake and Barbara Moran (Wayne) Marshall of LaGrange; grandchildren, Craig (Lisa) Fitch, Andrea Fitch (Levent Baykut), Taylor Cooksey and Peyton Cooksey; great-grandchildren, Trista and Colton; sister, Betty Schneider and her granddog, Pogo.
Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Moran, in 2015; daughters, Laurie Moran in 1982 and Tracy Moran Cooksey in 2002 and her grandson, Brian Zelina in 2009.
The family will receive Tuesday, May 10, 2016, from 4 until 8 P.M., in the Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst. Closing prayers will be held Wednesday, May 11, at 9:30 A.M., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M., at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 200 St. Joseph Drive, Amherst. The Reverend Father Michael Denk will be the Celebrant. Interment will follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
