Patricia E. Wright (nee Higgins), 54, of Wellington, passed away at home Sunday, June 5, 2016 following a long illness. Patricia was born January 7, 1962 in Cleveland and resided in Wellington for the past 25 years.
She worked as a nurse’s aide at Weber’s Nursing Home in Wellington. Patricia enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Mark; two sons, Frank and Justin Fenohr; stepdaughter, Angela Wright; stepsons, Phil and Brian Wright; four grandchildren; her mother, Janet Wright; three sisters, Julie Higgins, Alice Flury and Jamie Kinney and two brothers, Dale Higgins and Ben Adair.
She was preceded in death by her father, Everett Higgins and one brother, Eddie Higgins.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, June 12, 2016 at 3 P.M. at Midview Baptist Church, 36710 Royalton Rd., Grafton. Pastor Tim Mayo will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mercy New Life Hospice.

Bob Sergent
Bob Sergent, 91, of Wellington, died Sunday morning, June 12, 2016 at his home. He was born January 27, 1925 in Democrat, Kentucky, son of the late William Henry and Ollie (Cook) Sergent.
Bob moved to Ohio in 1968. He lived in Lorain until 1989 when he moved to Wellington. Bob worked in the coal mines of Kentucky until moving to Ohio. He retired from the Ford Motor Co. in Lorain in 1988. He was an avid trap shooter and loved gardening. He was a member and past officer with the Sportsman’s Gun and Reel Club of Lorain.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Patty (Bentley) Sergent; his children, Delana (Gerald) Burton of Wellington, Tammy (Tom) Kovach of Marysville, Ohio and Wendy (Brian Myers) Sergent of Wadsworth; his grandchildren, Bobby W. Sergent, Jr., Bryan Sergent, Jeremy (Ashley) Burton, Kendra (Jason) Burris, Spencre Sergent, Emma Myers and Cooper Myers; great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Kelsey, Carter, Phoenix, Ian, Collin and Liam; siblings, Emma Jean Bentley, Lavinia Farley, Delmar Sergent and Hobert Sergent.
He was preceded in death by his son, Bobby W. Sergent and several brothers and sisters.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at the Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main St., Wellington and from 11 A.M. until the time of service at 12 P.M. Darrell Austin Bullock
Darrell Austin Bullock, 36, of Lorain, departed this earthly life Tuesday, June 14, 2016, at Mercy Regional Medical Center. He was born in Lorain on May 12, 1980 and was a lifelong resident.
He graduated from Southview High School in 1998 and earned his Certificate in Computer Maintenance and Networking from Lorain County Community College. He was an avid video gamer and sports fan, and was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Lorain.
He will be sadly missed by his two sisters, Tiwauna Daniels-Taylor (Juan) and Saundra Daniels of Lorain; two brothers, Eddie Bullock and Christopher Bullock of Georgia; three nephews; uncle, Harris Daniels of Lorain; aunt, Shirleen Fitzpatrick of Columbus and a host of cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward F. Bullock and Patricia Bullock; a brother, Stanley D. E. Daniels and grandparents, Harris Daniels, Sr. and Cora Daniels.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 21, 2016 from 11 A.M., until the time of Service at 12 Noon, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 1516 E. 30th St., in Lorain. The Reverend Donald K. Young, Pastor will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Lorain.

Gwendolyn J. (Thomas) Burris, 62, transitioned from this earthly life on Monday, June 13, 2016, following a brief illness. She was born April 2, 1954 in Lorain, where she resided all of her life.
She was a member of Antioch Primitive Baptist Church of Lorain and was employed at All-American Riddell for the past 16 years. She was a great cook and loved fishing, traveling, bowling, dancing and spending time with her family and friends and was a sports fan of the Cleveland Browns, Cavaliers and Indians.
She leaves behind her loving companion, Raymond Davis; her beautiful daughters, Shamera D. Thomas and Shamyra D. Thomas of Lorain, Malerie M. Thomas (Dana Dunn) of Atlanta Georgia and Fa’Tima S. Burris (William Taylor) of Cleveland; grandson, Malachi Thomas-Cooper; extended grandchildren, William Taylor, Jr., William Taylor II, Arien Taylor and Lisayah Taylor; brothers, Ricky Thomas (Benette), Darrell Thomas, Andre Thomas (Doris) and Rodney Thomas (Judina Johnson) and a host of other loving family and friends.
Gwendolyn was preceded in death by her parents, James and Florida Mae (nee Jackson) Thomas; paternal grandparents, Willie and Julia Thomas; maternal grandparents, George and Maggie Dell (nee Stuart) Jackson.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 21, 2016, from 12 Noon until the time of Celebration of Life Service, at 1 P.M., at Antioch Primitive Baptist Church, 3035 Toledo Ave., Lorain. The Reverend Ernest G. Battle, Pastor, will officiate.

Joan Marie Burton
Joan Marie Burton, 61, of Oberlin, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 19, 2016, at Mercy New Life Hospice Center in Lorain, following a brief illness. She was born August 5, 1954, in Lorain, to Raymond E. and Helen Burton (nee Feeley).
Joan was employed by Murray Ridge Production Center in Oberlin. She enjoyed the work she did, her many friends there and the variety of social activities provided. She was active in the Special Olympics, winning a silver medal in Bocce this past May. Joan was also vice president of the resident council at LMHA John Frederick Oberlin Home.
Her hobbies and interests included arts and crafts, bingo, watching movies, playing games on her tablet and participating in programs at Splash Zone. She enjoyed rooting for the Cleveland sports teams and holidays, especially St. Patrick’s Day.
She is survived by her brothers, Robert Burton (Harriet) of Newburgh, New York, Timothy Burton (Carol) of Lorain and Raymond P. Burton of Cleveland; nieces and nephews, Matthew, Michelle, Shawn (Brenda), Erin and Colleen.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family will receive friends Thursday, June 23, 2016, from 10 A.M., until the time of Funeral Services at 12 Noon, at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain. The Reverend Tony DeGracia, Deacon of Sacred Heart Chapel in Lorain, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
