Regina is survived by her husband of 55 years, James L.; daughters, Pamela (Tony) Keys and Lisa (Jeff) McVeigh; son, James C. (Julia) Miller; grandchildren, Jack and Regan Keys, Maxwell McVeigh and Jake and Nick Miller; sisters, Patricia McBain and Deanie Machock; and a brother, David Machock. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Bernadine (nee Dunn) Machock; and a brother, Jack Machock. She was born March 31, 1935 in Elyria and was a 1953 graduate of Elyria High School. After graduation, she received her degree as an x-ray technician and was employed at Elyria Memorial Hospital and for Drs. Russell, Berkebile & Associates. She and Jim were married August 10, 1957 and lived in Baltimore, Maryland and then Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, as the wife of a U.S. Army guy, and the city where Pammy was born. She was a lady skilled in putting “new” homes together like in Bricktown, New Jeresey and Concord, California, where Lisa was born. The last move for her was back to Elyria where Jimmy was born and where she suggested to her husband that she wanted this to be the last move. Regina loved music and dancing, was an excellent cook and a fan of the Cleveland Browns and Ohio State University. She was the “Buddy” and “Pal” to virtually everyone who asked for help and comfort. Regina was known as Ya Ya to her grandkids and they will miss her. Friends will be received Tuesday, September 4, 2012, from 4 to 7 P.M., at Dicken Funeral Home, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. A graveside service for the family will be at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township. Reverend Charles T. Diedrick will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 1500 Rosecrans Ave., Suite 200, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266-3721.
