Esther G. Morse (nee Rowley), 94, of Venice, Florida, and formerly of Elyria, died Wednesday, May 23, 2012. She was born July 15, 1917 in Elyria and was a former member of First United Methodist Church in Elyria and Grace United Methodist Church in Venice. Esther is survived by a son, H. William Morse of Golden, Colorado; daughter, Susanne Nikla of Sarasota, Florida; two grandsons; one granddaughter; three great-granddaughters; and a brother, Russell Rowley. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Howard in 1986; parents, Harold and Dorothy Rowley, a brother, and two sisters. A graveside service will be Wednesday, July 18, 2012, 11 A.M., at Brookdale Cemetery in Elyria with Reverend Roger Talbott officiating.
