He worked with area businesses as a chef for 40 years, last as a head chef for Mr. Larry’s in Elyria. He was a member of House of Healing Church in Elyria. James was considered a “Jack of all trades” who enjoyed cooking, decorating, shopping and collecting model trains. He will be sadly missed by his sisters, Maxine, Rhonda and Dora, all of Elyria; his brothers, Danny of Elyria and Anthony “Wayne” of Lorain and Claudie of Maryland; two aunts, Maggie of Tennessee and Doris of Columbus; brother-in-law, Joseph of Elyria; sisters-in-law, Jessica of Cleveland and Stephanie of Lorain; special friends, Sandra Ross and Sharon Shaffer; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. James was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Blue and May Dora (Elliott) Blue; and brothers, Melvin, Darryl and Lloyd. He was born October 12, 1945 in Cleveland and had been a resident of Lorain County for over 30 years.
