Mildred D. Ehrman (nee Keiffer), 88, of Elyria, died Friday, March 11, 2016 at her home. She was born January 12, 1928 in New Bremen, New York.
She was a 1945 graduate of North Ridgeville High School and graduated as a registered nurse from M.B. Johnson School of Nursing in 1948. For 20 years, she was employed at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center. She had also worked at the Elyria United Methodist Village in addition to providing private duty nursing. She was a member of St. Vincent De Paul Church, Elyria and enjoyed logic puzzles, reading, sewing and listening to classical music.
Mildred is survived by a daughter, Michele Rowe of Elyria; sons, Gregory of Phoenix, Arizona, David of Glendale, Arizona, Philip of Van Nuys, California and Mark of Elyria; granddaughter, Ashley Rowe of Elyria; sisters, Marjorie Bruce and Carol Hayes, both of Elyria, Dianne Keiffer of Lorain and Patricia Delzeith of Albuquerque, New Mexico and brothers, Wilbur, Richard and Victor Keiffer, all of Elyria.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward W. Ehrman in 2007; parents, Victor and Victoria Keiffer; sisters, Mary Clark and Barbara Hand and a brother, Kenneth Keiffer.
Friends will be received Tuesday, March 15, 2016 from 4 P.M., until the time of a 6 P.M. service at Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 323 Middle Ave., Elyria. The Reverend Father Frank P. Kosem will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Cemetery, Elyria.
