Upon retirement she moved to Oberlin and later to Anchor Lodge Assisted Living. In her spare time she helped Habitat and Laborers for Christ of the Lutheran Church. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Oberlin. Marguerite was the daughter of Harold and Cora Palmer Ball. Born December 15, 1922. She is survived by a brother Jess (Marion) of North Canton and nieces, a nephew and cousins. Marguerite liked sports, she was a good softball player, she bowled and played some golf. Marguerite donated her body to Case Western Reserve Medical School. There will be a memorial service at Grace Lutheran Church, 310 W. Lorain St., Oberlin, at 2 P.M. on Saturday, July 28, 2012.
Marguerite Ball passed away Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Anchor Lodge Nursing Facility in Lorain. She was born and raised in Vermilion, and had worked at the Vermilion schools and the Vermilion Water Department.
